The HTC ThunderBolt is a record-breaking success and a testament to how badly people want LTE. That single-core processor appears to be a worthy trade-off for the raw horsepower offered by Verizon's network.
The ThunderBolt is a really nice phone. And it deserves to be protected from the harsh world around it. You'll be using this thing to zip around the Internet for the next two years. If it gets all dinged up and battered now, it might not last that long. You want impact protection, and something to keep your screen scratch-free.
Enter BodyGuardz. They've just sent out emails to press announcing the launch of a new carbon fiber shell for the ThunderBolt. The BodyGuardz Carbon Fiber Armor includes a ScreenGuardz Ultra-Tough shield for the display. This shield requires no liquid to apply, but don't let that lull you into a false sense of security. There isn't a screen protector I've tried that isn't a harrowing trial to fit properly. BodyGuardz is welcome to prove me wrong, though.
BodyGuardz brags that their screen protector is made from the same material "used to shield the fronts of cars from debris". If I'm reading this right, a phone with ScreenGuardz will be capable of shielding a car from debris. Which comes in handy when you catch yourself in the path of an exploding volcano or an alien invasion.
For more information, check out the BodyGuardz website.
