Brookstone is one of those places that tends to have some really cool gear that is also really expensive. The company is offering up some cool options for you to give your mom for Mother's Day is she uses an iPad or iPad 2. The company has a really cool Bluetooth keyboard Portfolio case that has all sorts of functionality right at your fingertips. The case holds the iPad 2 in the top section for protection and a has a wireless keyboard that folds down in the front flap of the portfolio and connects via Bluetooth.
The keyboard has plastic keys for a natural typing feel and it has an integrated stand that will work for propping up the display of the tablet for easy viewing. The cameras and controls of the iPad 2 are left uncovered for easy access. The keyboard section of the portfolio appears to have a front section that folds to make a padded wrist rest too. You can get it in black, brown, or red for $99.99. This thing will also work for geeky dads and anyone else needing a case for their iPad.
Brookstone also has a number of other gear that you can get to go with the original iPad and the new iPad 2 for other needs. You can get an adjustable stand for the tablet for $49.95, a desktop docking station for $79.95, and portable speakers for $59.95. Any of this stuff will make a great gift for any occasion be it Mother's Day or graduation and anything in between.
"Today's mom is truly a 'Power Mom,'" said Ron Boire, Brookstone CEO. "She uses the latest technology to balance family, work and home more efficiently. Our new accessories for the iPad and iPad 2 tablet are a great way to show her your love and appreciation on Mother's Day."
