The iPad Magazine offering gets a bit more attractive today. According to the Wall Street Journal, Time Inc. reached a deal with Apple to offer subscribers to the print edition of Sports Illustrated, Time and Fortune magazines will get free access to respective iPad Magazine versions. It is so obvious that this needs to be true for all print subscribers. What's still missing for many iPad magazine versions is a yearly subscription plan that is prices similar to the print offers.
You can subscribe to most magazines at print subscription cost using apps like Zinio that offer scanned versions of magazines around the globe as detailed in this report.
I am still waiting for Wired Magazine to get their iPad offering sorted out.
