Lisa Kudrow hosts Weeby Awards 2011
 

Actress Lisa Kudrow is best known for her role in Friends.

The annual Webby Awards 2011 will be hosted by Lisa Kudrow. The winners of the Webby Awards 2011 have already been announced. The Webby Awards show should still be entertaining to watch. It will be broadcasted live on Facebook.

Lisa Kudrow also won a Webby this year for "Best Individual Performance in an Online Video," and Web Therapy picked up the award for "Best Comedy: Long Form" for the second straight year.

Known for her portrayal of the iconic character Phoebe Buffay on "Friends", and for films like "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" and the critically-acclaimed HBO series "The Comeback", Kudrow is the creator and star of the Webby Award-winning series "Web Therapy." That show was recently picked up by Showtime and will debut on the network in July.

The Webby Awards also hand out two special achievement awards this year. Groupon will be honored as the Webby Breakout of the Year and Red Burns, founder of New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program will get a a Special Achievement Award recognizing her lifelong commitment to fostering many of the young minds who paved the way for today's thriving media world.

Established in 1996, the 15th Annual Webby Awards received nearly 10,000 entries from all 50 states and over 60 countries worldwide. Via Webby Awards site.
