Known for her portrayal of the iconic character Phoebe Buffay on "Friends", and for films like "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" and the critically-acclaimed HBO series "The Comeback", Kudrow is the creator and star of the Webby Award-winning series "Web Therapy." That show was recently picked up by Showtime and will debut on the network in July.
The Webby Awards also hand out two special achievement awards this year. Groupon will be honored as the Webby Breakout of the Year and Red Burns, founder of New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program will get a a Special Achievement Award recognizing her lifelong commitment to fostering many of the young minds who paved the way for today's thriving media world.
