Volkswagen launched the 21s Century Beetle Pre-order program. You can pre-order a limited edition Black Turbo Launch Edition Beetles available now. For a fully refundable reservation fee of $495 that goes toward your future Beetle purchase, you can reserve an all-new Beetle that features Black Pearl Paint (available exclusively on pre-orders), a 200hp turbocharged engine and sport suspension.
There are supposed 600 Black Turbo Beetles available for this special pre-order. The MSRP of this 2012 Beetle is $24,950 excludes taxes, destination charges, optional equipment, and registration and dealer charges. Dealer sets actual price. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Must complete purchase within by September 30, 2011, at selected Volkswagen dealer.

Volkswagen announced the 2012 Beetle in April, after teasing it at the Super Bowl. The new 2012 Beetle will launch in September/October in the United States and October/November in Europe. The original Beetle (1949-1979) sold almost 5 million units in the United States. The new Beetle (1998-2010) sold almost 500,000 in the States.
