The iPhone 5 is still a moving target in the Apple rumor mill. Yesterday we reported about a rumor that said a dramatically updated iPhone will come in August. Today Bloomberg reports that their sources say the new iPhone 5 comes in September and will just be speed and camera update. The iPhone 4S rumor has been already making its rounds back in May. According to Bloomberg the new iPhone for 2011 will have an A5 CPU and an 8MP camera.
I lean towards the conservative iPhone 5 rumor. The shape of the iPhone stays the same. I still think the edge-to-edge screen is a possibility. The iPhone 4 still stands out dramatically when compared to Android phone. The design language is still unique. No real need to change that in 2011.
In the same report Bloomberg claims that Apple is already testing an new iPad 3 with ah higher resolution screen (retina display).
