If you order an iPad 2 today in the online Apple Store, then you have to wait still 1-2 weeks until it ships. This is a clear sign that Apple is not able to make enough iPad 2 tablets to satisfy demand.
Digitimes reports today that market watchers see Apple to increase the orders for iPad 2 from 7-9m to 12-14 million. These iPad 2 orders would ship in Q3. The report also claims that Apple has already started to hord components to make sure they can produce the increased number of iPad 2 tablets.
This report also pushes aside the rumors of an iPad 3 to be launched still this year. Apple has its hands full to sell the iPad 2 to everybody who wants one.
