This week could become a huge Apple release week. Besides the OS X Lion we now look at releases of 2011 MacBook Air, MacBook and Mac mini. Earlier rumored Mac Pro system might get separate release date.
9to5Mac published part numbers for a new White MacBook and three Mac mini configurations. I am especially interested what Apple is doing for the MacBook. How will they position the entry-level Mac laptop to the MacBook Air line. Right now you can buy a MacBook and a MacBook Air at the same pricing. The MacBook Air outperforms though the MacBook by a long shot. It is clear that the MacBook will have a Thunderbolt port and faster CPUs, but what else is Apple doing to make the plastic Mac a hit again. Lower prices? Maybe we already will know the answer on Thursday.
