iPad 3 still be Manufactured entirely by Foxconn

Earlier rumor that Apple is seeking a 2nd maker for the upcoming iPad 3 said to be false.

Couple days ago a rumor broke that said that Apple is seeking a second maker for the upcoming iPad 3. One of the candidates mentioned to make the iPad 3 besides Foxconn was Pegatron. A new report on Digitimes cites now sources that say that Foxconn convinced Apple to not shift any iPad 3 orders to other makers.

Pegatron Technology is still expected to make around 10 million iPhone 5 devices for Apple this fall. Pegatron is supposed to continue trying to get more business from Apple including iPad 4 and 2012 Macbooks.

Apple suffered initial loss of iPad 2 sales because of limited supply. The supply situation has eased and Apple is predicted to announce record iPad sales for last quarter next week.
