The IFA 2011 Consumer Electronics show in Berlin will open on September 2. IFA organizers already released a spread of the 2011 IFA model showing off some of the products exhibited at the show. One of the gadgets posing with Miss IFA 2011 is the unreleased Sony S1 Tablet (photo above).
Last year IFA took place the 50th time. I already have been to a IFA preview press briefing and to no surprise the main topics of IFA 2011 will revolve around TVs. We will see all three 3D technologies (glasses-free, shutter and Polarizer) on display. Toshiba said to show-off a glasses-free 3D TV with at least 40-inches in size. LG and German Metz push Polarizer 3D TVs.
What's new this year will be the onslaught of tablets. Sony is expected to bring their S1 and S2 tablets. Samsung and Acer are also bringing their tablets along. According to a new rumor, Samsung will introduce the Samsung Q at the IFA 2011.
