OS X Lion is very near. Maybe it is already launching tomorrow as a rumor suggested yesterday. In Italy some 3rd party Apple Stores have already setup OS X Lion banners according to this Italian blog. The story and photos got already removed. MacRumors has copies. I assume the store in question did not want to have to do some explaining to Apple why they put up the Lion Promo material too early.
As reported earlier the Apple Stores have already received the final version of Lion for the demo computers and tonight Apple Stores are supposed to get prepared for the OS X Lion launch tomorrow.
OS X Lion is bringing 250 new features. OS X Lion will be available as a download from the Mac App Store for $29.99. Some of the features in Lion include: new Multi-Touch gestures; system-wide support for full screen apps; Mission Control, a view of everything running on your Mac; the Mac App Store, the best place to find and explore great software, built right into the OS; Launchpad, a new home for all your apps; and a completely redesigned Mail app.
