Facebook iPad App leaks, Requires Jailbroken iPad to run [Update]
The Facebookapp for the iPad is actually already here. It is hidden and it is apparently not finished, but if you have a jailbroken iPad you can run it today. TechCrunch found a working version what is thought to be the pretty close to the final Facebook iPad app inside the current Facebook iPhone app. You can see in the screenshots that TechCrunch published a pretty rich interface that makes Facebook a pretty nice experience on the iPad.
As mentioned above to run this build of the Facebook iPad app you need to jailbreak your iPad, which is something Apple does not like you to do and you need to be aware of the technical risks. The Next Web published a step-by-step guide to run the Facebook app on the iPad.
If this leak will accelerate the release of the Facebook iPad app is unclear.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
