The highly anticipated iPhone 5 is according to new leaked silicon cases have a totally new design. It would be thinner and tapered like the iPhone 5 design that got featured in an April story on ThisIsMyNext. Now 9to5Mac reports about an alleged iPhone 5 silicon case that points to the same form factor.
If this is the real deal is highly questionable. There have been always several case leaks ahead of iPhone releases and most of them have been false. Many of the cases just pick up on a popular rumor and make a case prototype out of it. I am pretty sure you already can by an iPhone knock-off that looks like the tapered iPhone 5 concept in some gadget store in Asia.
Many rumor reports until know said that the iPhone 5 will look like the iPhone 4. At this point there is no way of telling which way it will turn out. I am a fan of symmetrical design. The tapered shape of the iPhone 5 concept suggested here is actually not my favorite. I like though the rounded back.
