The new Sony S1 and S2 Android tablet will debut at the IFA 2011 in early September. CarryPad found several screens of the Sony S1 and S2 leak on the Sony support site. The screens have been pulled now. You can see them still on the Carrypad site.
The screens reval a clean user interface that bring a flavor of the PS3 to Android. The S1 and S2 are likely to ship with Android 3.2 pre-installed. Sony will also pre-install a select sets of apps including Chumby and Zinio.
The Sony S1 is a 9.4-inch screen tablet with an off center design that acts as a grip and should prop the screen up a bit when laid on a flat surface. The Sony S2 tablet is a device that is roughly the same size, but it has a pair of 5.5-inch screens on it and folds for more portability. The S1 and S2 names are supposed to be still changed before the launch in September.
