Samsung and Google will unveil the Ice Cream Sandwich running Nexus Prime aka Galaxy Nexus on October 11. Yesterday we featured a teaser video that showed the silhouette of a thin and curved phone. Today BGR published a list of specifications for the Nexus Prime from a trusted source.
According to the rumor the Nexus Prime has a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD screen with 1,280x720px under curved glass. Other features include TI OMAP 4460 dual-core A9 Cortex CPU at 1.2Ghz, 1GB RAM, 32GB storage, 5MP, 1080p video capture, LTE/HSPA depending on carrier, Wifi and NFC. The Galaxy Nexus is 9mm thin.
The 5MP camera sounds strange. Why not a 8MP sensor like the iPhone 4S?
BGR also says that Verizon will offer the Nexus Prime exclusively in the United States. This could be true, as Verizon skipped the Galaxy S2.
