Today I am checking out the cool Vibrato Remote Headphones from V-Moda. These are the latest in the series of headphones that V-Moda has sent my way and if you are wondering if they are as impressive as the others I have tried read on for all of the details.
The Vibrato Remote Headphones has detachable Active Flex ear hooks to keep the headphones in your ears during exercise. The headphones also have an inline remote that allows you to control calls on the iPhone and music playback as well. V-Moda ships the earphones with three different sizes of ear tips and a black carry case. The Vibrato Remote Headphones are available now for $129.
The thing I always notice about headphones from V-Moda is that they look so good. The style is just as important to the company as the way they sound so V-Moda goes all out for style and performance. Like the other earphones I have tried from V-Moda, the Vibrato Remote Headphones are high end with a price of nearly $130. For that much money you get an inline remote designed to control the iPhone with a mic and great sound.
The control has three buttons on the top and bottom buttons for volume and the middle button for skipping tracks and pausing or playing. The remote works well and is accurate. The mic in the Vibrato Remote Headphones works well and picks up a little external sound. This is common for this sort of earphones.
The Vibrato Remote Headphones come with three sizes of tips. I used the medium tips and they fit snugly and comfortably. I always expect big things from V-Moda headphones and the Vibrato Remote Headphones deliver with ease. The amount of bass that V-Moda is able to coax out of the little ear buds never ceases to impress. The bass is deep and of the sort you can feel and hear.
At the same time, the mid range sounds and high range sounds are also clear. The bass is deep, but never overruns the vocals. Some headphones give you bass, but you have to strain to hear the vocals. This is not the case with the Vibrato Remote Headphones. The ear tips are comfortable for extended wear and the ear hooks are comfortable as well.
I don’t think most users will need the ear hook if they choose the right tip size. If you like to exercise with earphones in your ears you might want to use the ear hooks to prevent the earphones from falling out. Overall, this is yet another very impressive product from V-Moda.
The Vibrato Remote Headphones are not cheap, but they sound and look fantastic making them worth the expense for those valuing style and performance.
