As reported there is a battery drain issue with the iPhone 4S that early iPhone 4S customers are complaining about since the launch of the iPhone 4S. Apple has now officially acknowledged the issue to AllThingsD. Apple says that the found a few bugs responsible for the battery issues in iOS 5. An iOS 5 update would be coming in a few weeks to address the issue. A few weeks? That is quite long. I hope Apple is just managing expectations here and will release the fix latest by next week.
