Walmart Super Saturday $398 Sanyo DP42840 1080p HDTV Deal also available Online

The Walmart Super Saturday Sale Highlights include the $398 Sanyo DP42840 1080p HDTV. This TV deal is also on sale on Walmart.com.

Best Buy is also still offering right now the Dynex DX-42E250A12 1080p 60Hz LED HDTV for $399.99. The price is basically the same, but which TV is better?

Looking at the specifications the Dynex does have an LED panel, but only a contrast ratio of 2,500:1 and a brightness of 300cd/m2. The Walmart Sanyo TV has no LED panel but states a higher contrast ratio of 4,000:1. The Sanyo TV has with 3 HDMI ports one more than the Dynex and a built-in ATSC/Clear QAM digital/NTSC analog tuner. The Sanyo brand is also considered to be better than Dynex. In this case I would pick the Walmart 1080p HDTV early Black Friday Deal.

So get this 42-inch 1080p TV Deal on Walmart.com now. Find all Walmart Super Saturday Deal Highlights.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
