Specifications

The Qmadix USB Twin Tablet Charging Kit 4.2 is coming soon and will sell for $39.99. It has a DC adapter that plugs into your car that has dual USB ports on it. Each port delivers 2.1 amps of power. The kit also ships with an Apple sync and charge cable.

In Use

I have traveled with my iPad on a few occasions and found early on that normal chargers lacked the power the tablet needs to operate. The Qmadix USB Twin Tablet Charging Kit 4.2 has a pair of USB ports that each offers 2.1 amps of power. That means not only will it charge your tablet, but devices that can take advantage of that extra power can recharge more quickly as well.

In my 2012, Mustang the power port is in a strange place in the middle of the dash and is recessed inside a compartment that is covered with a little trap door. The Qmadix USB Twin Tablet Charging Kit 4.2 adapter will fit inside that little trap door, but it can be a challenge getting it plugged in.

Once plugged in the Qmadix USB Twin Tablet Charging Kit 4.2 charge and sync cable plugged right into my iPad with no issues at all and the iPad recognized the power and started to charge. This might be the exact thing you need for a road trip with kids that have multiple tablets. This charging accessory is a great way to charge your smartphone and the included cable is four feet long.

Verdict

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Charge two iPads at once

Cons

  • Expensive

Conclusion

The Qmadix USB Twin Tablet Charging Kit 4.2 works as promised and is very convenient for multiple tablet families that travel.
