Black Friday 2011 Tablet Deal Highlights include $249 Asus Transformer Android Tablet

Last week I published a report saying that all HoneyComb Tegra 2 Android Tablets will sell for under $300 on Black Friday and in the Holiday Shopping season. Besides the lack of consumer appeal (iPad has 75% market share) now several more issues arise that make the current generation of Android HoneyComb Tablets are shelf warmers. You can read about those reasons in details here. We just got confirmation that indeed lots of HoneyComb Android Tablet will be selling for way less than $300 on Black Friday 2011.

We already know about the Acer Iconia 16GB Tablet that will sell for $299 in the Staples Black Friday Sale. But now the leaked Best Buy Black Friday 2011 Ad reveals lots of Android Tablet deals including a hot sale on the popular Asus Transformer tablet. The Asus Eee Pad Transformer 16GB 10.1-inch screen is going to sell for the ultra-low price of $249.99. Amazon still wants you to pay $389.99 for it. At half the price of an iPad 2, the Asus Eee Pad Transformer is a great tablet deal. You can also pick up the Asus Transformer Keyboard docking station on Black Friday at Best Buy for the sales price of $99.99. As you know there is a new Asus Transformer tablet with Tegra 3 coming in December with the Transformer Prime. This is one of the reasons why Tegra 2 based tablets are going to be liquidated this year.

You still need to look very closely on the tablet deal details. Some of the sub-$300 Android Tablets only offer 8GB instead of the usual 16GB you would expect.

Find below the list of all Black Friday 2011 Android HoneyComb Tablet deals we know about so far.

Black Friday HoneyComb Tablet Deals:

$249 Asus Eee Pad Transformer (10.1-inch, 16GB) - Best Buy
