Best Buy is announcing yet another unusual mobile phone deal for the pre Black Friday sales season. We already reported about the Best Buy deal where you get a free Blu-ray player with the Samsung Galaxy SII or Epic 4G Touch now Best Buy gives you a free copy of the new Rihanna Talk That Talk album. You get Rihanna's new album for free at Best Buy with the purchase and 2-year activation of any mobile phone on Monday, November 21 only.
"Rihanna is one of the biggest stars in music today and we expect this to be a big release," said Chris Homeister, senior vice president and general manager for the home entertainment group at Best Buy. "Leveraging our Best Buy Mobile business on this offer sets us apart from the competition and gives consumers a great reason to visit Best Buy for their music and smartphone needs."
The new Rihanna album is actually going to be released on Monday. Best Buy makes a big deal out of a rather small value. The Talk That Talk CD sells for $13.99 on Amazon. I recommend to only take Best Buy up on this deal, if the phone is also priced competitively with Amazon Wireless.
In the meantime shop the new Best Buy Shop Early, Save Big Sales event that launched today. Now this is a sale where you really can save money. Check out this deal for instance.
