If you have someone that has a new stereo system on their Christmas list and wants something small enough to not take up the their desktop the new Onkyo CS-345 might be perfect for you. This device is a small and compact music system that packs in a CD player and an AM/FM tuner. The system also has an iPhone/iPod dock on the top as well.
The speakers in the system include a pair of 4-inch woofers and a pair of dome tweeters. Onkyo says the design allows the system to have excellent bass despite the small size. The speaker enclosures are bass-reflex designs to help the bass even more.
Onkyo also integrated a subwoofer output and a TV output to shoot video from the docked iPhone or iPod to your TV. The system also has a digital amp and is matched to the speakers for low distortion and sound quality. The CS-345 is available now for $299.
