Last week during our Black Friday coverage we mentioned that you could pick up the Dell Streak 7 Android tablet at a price of $159.99. That sale price might have been a move to help clear inventory because as of today the Streak 7 is no longer available on the Dell website. Dell has removed the product from its listings.
When you hit the Streak 7 page today rather than the product and order capability is a note that says the Streak 7 is no longer available online. T-Mobile has a fauxG version of the tablet that might still be offered. If you want one of these tablets, you might want to check T-Mo.
The tablet didn’t even make it a year before it was killed off. The Streak 7 debuted in January of 2011. Dell has previously ended the production of the Streak 5 tablet as well. Dell has had a hard time competing in many categories and the competition is particularly fierce in the tablet realm.
