Apple rumors are never ending and the latest one floating around is about the MacBook Pro. DigiTimes tips the source as being in upstream supply chain for Apple. These sources are claiming that Apple is set to launch a new MacBook Pro with a very high resolution screen.
The resolution is said to be 2880 x 1800, which is higher than the resolution on most 30-inch displays. The new screen resolution is said to be coming in Q2 2012 according to the sources. The MacBooks right now have resolutions of 1680 x 1050 and 1280 x 800.
That higher resolution would be a big deal for people into graphic design and other tasks. It would also mean smaller fonts to some extent and the ability to get more data on the screen at one time. The same sources also tipped that Acer and Asus will be launching Ultrabooks with resolutions of 1920 x 1080 in the first half of 2012.
