The first glimpse that we saw of the Wii U console from Nintendo and the slick controllers with the LCDs in them was back at E3. There are more rumors swirling that claim the Wii U will find its way to CES 2012 for another demo. I wonder if they will be allowing gaming demos too.
I would like to get my hands on the Wii U for some demo time. The console will be shown off again so media geeks that weren't at E3 will get to see the thing in person. Nintendo has already gone official with the announcement and said:
"Nintendo will not have a booth at CES, nor does it plan to include any games, experiences or information beyond what was available at the 2011 E3 Expo," the statement continues. So, a handful of tech demos and Zelda HD, then. Unsurprisingly, Nintendo also noted that the console remains on track from a launch sometime "between the start of the 2012 E3 Expo in June, and the end of 2012."
