Super Bowl XLVI to be streamed online for the First Time

Finally. The Super Bowl 2012 will be the first to be streamed online.

The Super Bowl 2012 will be streamed online and on the Verizon mobile network. For the first time ever the Super Bowl will be streamed online. NBC reached a deal with the NFL to stream the big game on February 5th, 2012 online. The Super Bowl 2012 will be streamed online at and through SNF Extra, which features an HD broadcast, DVR-style controls, additional camera angles, in-game highlights, live statistics and interactive elements.

The Super Bowl XLVI will also be streamed on mobile devices via the NFL Mobile App on Verizon. I assume the Super Bowl 2012 online broadcast will also include the Super Bowl ads.

The Super Bowl 2012 is taking place in Indianapolis on February 5th, 2012. Just like last year, I4U News will again be featuring the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl 2012 for Geeks Guide will be all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the game. For even more Super Bowl 2012 Ads coverage visit our new Super Bowl Ads Blog.
