LG Outlines Android ICS Update Schedule For Smartphones

ICS for lots of LG smartphones in Q1/Q2

LG has offered up some detail on when the Android smartphones it offers will be getting the update to the Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich smartphones. The company says that in Q2 2012 the new update will be offered to owners of the following smartphones:

The Optimus LTE, Prada phone by LG 3.0, the LG Optimus 2X, the LG Optimus Sol, the LG my Touch Q and the LG Eclipse. In Q3, the LG Optimus 3D, LG Optimus Black, LG Optimus Big, LG Optimus Q2 and LG Optimus EX moving to Android 4.0.

Other smartphone makers are announcing ICs updates for roughly the same time. ICS will be one of the updates that Android users are looking forward to the most. There are a number of new and interesting features in the update.
