Seagate has been offering external HDDs for a long time and the newest of the drives packs in huge storage capacity along with fast USB 3.0 ports for data transfer. EverythingUSB has got one in for review and it has 4TB of storage capacity and a USB 3.0 port.
The drive has a cool design that is minimalistic. The drive spins at 7,200 rpm making it fast and while it's meant for USB 3.0, it can be converted to support FireWire 400/800 as well. The drive monitors your machines and back up new data in real time.
The device has no power button, which doesn't seem to be a big deal for a continuous backup drive. EverytingUSB figures that the drive is a winner with fast data transfers in the 130MB/s range and a lot more.
