AOC has announced that it will be showing off a new display for computer users at CES 2012. The new display is USB-powered needing only a single USB port for power and video connectivity. The display is called the e2251Fwu and it is 22-inches in size.
The display is also surprisingly cheap at $199. The monitor uses LED backlighting and has a 250cd brightness rating. The contrast ratio is 20M:1 dynamic and it has a 5ms response time so fast acting should be no problem.
The display is also very slim at 10.6mm and it will work on Windows XP and up as well as OS X Tiger and up. The native resolution is 1920 x 1080 for full HD content support. “The 22-inch USB Monitor makes multi-screen computing more practical than ever with its plug-and-play setup, cord independence and low power consumption,” said Robert Velez, Marketing Manager of AOC.
