That USB 3.0 port on your computer might not be getting the workout that it needs to stay healthy. The USB 3.0 port is much faster than the USB 2.0 port you are used to and with the right flash drive, moving large files and other content around is much quicker to do. Lexar has a new flash drive that uses the USB 3.0 port and offers much more speed.
The Lexar JumpDrive Triton line comes in three capacities. The capacities start at $69.99 for the small 16GB drive and go up from there. You can also get 32GB or 64GB versions of the flash drive as well. The read speed on the drives is 155MB/s and the writes are at 150MB/s making for speedy data throughput.
The drives are enclosed in an alloy housing for longevity and they are backed by a lifetime warranty. I am glad to see more devices coming to market that use the USB 3.0 port. This would make a nice backup drive.
