Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has gone on record as saying that Android has advantages over the iPhone. That is an interesting statement to be made by someone from Apple, but Woz has never been shy about saying what he thinks. The comment came in an interview Woz did with Dan Lyons of the Daily Beast.
Woz said, "My primary phone is the iPhone. I love the beauty of it. But I wish it did all the things my Android does, I really do." I wonder how mad Woz saying things like this make the folks at Apple. He continued saying, "I used to ask Siri, 'What are the five biggest lakes in California?' and it would come back with the answer. Now it just misses. It gives me real estate listings. I used to ask, 'What are the prime numbers greater than 87?' and it would answer. Now instead of getting prime numbers, I get listings for prime rib, or prime real estate."
Woz also mentions the GPS on Android being better; I will agree the free nav apps are better on Android. My iPhone 4 always had better GPS reception than my Droid X2 can muster. Woz also complained about battery life, which I think all iPhone users have battled before.
