Nokia has announced that a second update to the Lumia 800 will be coming to all owners of the smartphone in the next few weeks. The Lumia 800 is a Windows Phone smartphone and has suffered from battery issues since it launched. Nokia launched a software fix last year that didn’t fix the problem.
This time around, Nokia is hopeful that the battery issues will be remedied. The update also fixes some issues with WiFi connectivity as well. The rollout of the update will be staggered with about half the users getting the update this week.
The other half of the users will get the update next week. The staggered roll out is to be sure all users can get the update. The software will be offered via the normal Microsoft update system. The update brings the Lumia 800 to version 1600.2483.8106.11500.
