Today I am going to check out the Epson Artisan 835 printer. This very nice printer will do just about anything you want from faxing, photo printing, copying, and scanning. Read on for all of the details on the Epson Artisan 835.
The Epson Artisan 835 printer is an AIO printer that will scan, fax, and do anything else you want it to do. The printer has a maximum resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi and can print in black or color. It has a touchscreen on the front for controlling the printer and its settings and has WiFi. It will print CDs as well and has six ink tanks with light cyan and magenta for better color quality.
It's worth noting that this printer is still available online in some places, but has been officially discontinued by Epson in favor of the very similar Artisan 837. I am still reviewing this printer because Epson sent it to me a long time ago and during a change of offices I packed it away and forgot about it. I promised to review the printer, so here it is.
The setup of the Epson Artisan 835 is straightforward and easy to do. I set the printer up using WiFi mode so I wouldn't have to have a cable running around my office. I set the WiFi setting using the touchscreen on the front, but you can do it in the driver software that you do have to install as well.
Once the printer is on the network you can hook it up to any other computer using the driver CD alone. The print quality for the Epson Artisan 835 is top notch. It prints clear and easy to read document. The photo quality is very impressive the extra ink tanks with different colors make for some very high-quality images.
The images had much better color reproduction than my old Kodak AIO printer I have always used for photo prints. One of the cooler things about the Epson Artisan 835 is that you can get an app to print from your iOS device. Printing emails is as easy as firing that app up. This printer will fax, scan, copy, and print all with great quality and ease. The new 837 printer would be expected to perform the same way, with a few new tricks.
This is a great printer that works well and has fantastic photo print quality.
