The Super Bowl is a favorite platform of Hollywood to promote the biggest movie releases of the year. Last year we counted 15 Super Bowl movie trailers, but this year the number of Super Bowl movie trailers is likely less than 10.
Which movies actually get the honors of a Super Bowl trailer is kept pretty much secret until the last minute. Act of Valor was confirmed early one, but just in the last two days three more movies got confirmed to be featured during the Super Bowl 2012. Some of Super Bowl 2012 Movie Trailers are already released or teaser videos have been published.

According to Super Bowl Ads for Geeks, only four Hollywood studios bought advertising time for the Super Bowl 2012:This year only four movie studios are advertising during the Super Bowl 2012 with Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures, Walt Disney Studios and Relativity Media.
