Apple iPad 3 Event is on March 7

The Apple iPad 3 announcement is on Wednesday, March 7. Apple has not officially announced this date, but the rumor broken by iMore, just got confirmed by Jim Dalrymple. Getting confirmation from Jim Dalrymple is of equal value to an official Apple announcement.

The new iPad 3 will bring a Retina Display, Apple A6 quad-core CPU and maybe 4G LTE. Apple will improve the cameras and the new iPad 3 is likely a bit thicker because of the bigger battery needed for the retina display. The iPad 3 Retina Display is the big new thing and the only reason to upgrade from an iPad 2.
