If you follow the iPhone you will remember back when the iPhone 4 launched a problem with the antenna was discovered. The problem was that when you put your hand on area of the smart phone where the antenna was you could lose signal strength. Steve Jobs famously quipped that people should not hold the phone that way.
There were originally multiple suits against Apple over the antenna issues that were combined into a single class action. The settlement in a class-action has now been reached, and you are not getting rich. I would bet that some of the attorneys made a bundle on this case. Original buyers of the iPhone 4 will get an e-mail with particulars before April 30.
People will have a 120-day claim window to submit their claim. The settlement will give each qualified claimant take some of $15 or free bumper. Apple had previously offered free bumper cases, but not everyone took advantage.
