Troubled Yahoo filed a patent lawsuit against Facebook yesterday in San Jose, CA according to Reuters. Besides Apple and Samsung's patent fight in the tablet and smartphone business, this new lawsuit could open the next battle ground: Social patent wars.
"We're disappointed that Yahoo, a longtime business partner of Facebook and a company that has substantially benefited from its association with Facebook, has decided to resort to litigation," Jonathan Thaw, a Facebook spokesman said.
