I'm not a fan of the Nissan Leaf EV because it's not an attractive car and the driving range isn't that great. I think the Leaf is a good car in some environments, but in areas where things are more spread out it's of questionable value. At the New York Auto Show, Infiniti unveiled its own version of the Leaf is a much more attractive vehicle than Nissan offers called the Infiniti LE Concept .
The car has all-new sheet metal, an all-new interior compared to the Leaf, and it is expected to come to market in a couple years at an undisclosed price. It uses the same electric motor and battery pack along with the same suspension and transmission that the Leaf utilizes. However, the electric motor is tweaked to produce a little more horsepower and torque. Electric driving range is said to be about 100 miles, which is the same the Leaf promises.
