2012 will be the year we will get another major iTunes release. According to sources of 9to5Mac, Apple is working iTunes 11 already since before the release of iTunes 10.6. iTunes 11 is supposed to be featuring under the hood changes, iOS 6 support and better iCloud integration.
The iTunes Store and App Store are also supposed to get a major update this year.
It is likely that iTunes 11 will be released along the new iPhone 5 in Fall.
