Macs still aren't safe

Mac users should pay attention to this. You may think the worst of Flashback is behind us, but a new variant is now rearing its head. Intego says the new version is called Flashback.S and continues to exploit the Java vulnerability that Apple has patched.

The new version needs no password to install and hides itself in the users home folder in two locations. It also deletes its install applet to prevent detection. Mac users need to check their systems for the new variant and be sure they are protected.
