Rumors suggested that Apple will use LiquidMetal in the iPhone 5. Liquidmetal inventor says technology not mature and it will take a few more years until Apple will use Liquidmetal.
Last month we carried a rumor that the iPhone 5 would feature a Liquidmetal case. Apple secured the right to Liquidmetal for gadgets back in 2010. BusinessInsider interviewed Liquidmetal inventor Atak Peker and he squashed this rumor. Apparently Liquidmetal still needs years until it can be used in mass production for gadget cases.
