Apple offers Settlement to Proview in iPad Trademark Case in China

Proview Technology in China seems to be in great position to get a pile of money from Apple to settle the iPad name ownership in China. The case is right now at the Guangdong Higher People's court where a settlement is supposed to be mediated.

Bloomberg reports that a lawyer for Proview said that Apple made an offer. "Right now, there is still a big gap between the two sides on the settlement amount," said Roger Xie. Apple declined to comment.
