What would we do without rumors from the Asian gadget supply chain. Today Digitimes reports that Pegatron is rumored to have secured a deal from Apple to supply the iPhone 5 and a new iPad. The "new new" iPad would launch in Q4. Pegatron is making the iPhone 4S and the also makes the new iPad. It is no surprise that they also get some action making the iPhone 5, but what is about yet another new iPad?
This is not the rumored 7-inch low priced iPad that is supposed to already come in August made by Foxconn. What I can imagine though is that Apple is fixing the whole global 4G LTE issue around the new iPad. As reported earlier today, the Qualcomm multi-mode LTE chip is coming end of this year. What that chip the iPad Wi-fi + 4G would work with all LTE networks around the world. Right now it only works with US based LTE networks.
