Seagate has announced a new collection of external USB connecting backup hard drives called Backup Plus. These drives are designed to be small and portable and there are versions for both PC and Mac users the drives, pre-equipped with Seagate Dashboard software for one click local backups.
The drives also will backup photographs from Facebook and Flickr locally, which is an industry first according to Seagate. The drives come in multiple capacities and are available now including 500 GB, 750 GB, and 1 TB capacities for portable versions. Desktop drives are available in 1 TB to 4 TB versions. The drives range in price from $119.99 up to $249.99 depending on the capacity.
