Acer has announced the new ultrabooks called the Timeline Ultra M5. The machines come with 14-inch or 15.6-inch displays and are only .81 inches thick and weigh as little as 4.3 pounds. The machines promise up to eight hours battery life on a single charge and feature Acer Green Instant On to resume from sleep in less than 2 seconds and from deep sleep in 6 seconds.
The machines feature third-generation Intel Core processors and Nvidia discrete graphics cards. They are also equipped with optical drives. The ultrabooks have a 500 GB hard drive for storage and a 20 GB SSD to support instant on capability. The machines also have dual USB 3.0 ports and lots more. The machines will be available at the end of the month with pricing starting at $679.99 and going up to $829.99.
