You might be familiar with the website Orbitz that sells discount price hotel rooms for travelers. You might expect both Windows and Mac users to see the same hotels when they run a search that isn't the case. Mac users apparently spend as much as 30% more per night on hotels than Windows counterparts.
That has led to Mac users sometimes seeing more expensive hotel options than Windows user see. The company does point out that Mac users are being given more expensive rates on the same hotel rooms, they are simply being shown more expensive options by default. That's geek profiling, and I'm not sure if it's wrong.
