iPhone 5 Production has started

The iPhone 5 is, according to sources of Macotakara (via MacRumors), already in production in China. This would make the anticipated launch of the iPhone 5 in September a possibility.

There is another new rumor from KnowYourMobile that says Apple would announce the iPhone 5 as soon as August 7th. I really do not think so. August is in many parts of the world a time where most people are on vacation. That means nothing gets done. An announcement in August would have less impact compared to September.

The iPhone 5 is going to feature a larger screen, more performance, smaller dock connector and a new case design. The shape of the iPhone 5 is supposed to stay the same, but with different back-side design. Read the latest iPhone 5 news and rumor updates below.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
