Microsoft Surface 2 in the Works

On October 26 Microsoft will start selling the new Surface tablets along with the Windows 8 release. We still do not know the pricing. Microsoft's hardware partners are though getting already nervous. If Microsoft prices the Surface tablets in the iPad range than Asus, HP and others have a huge problem.

Microsoft is also according to TechRadar already working on the Surface 2. They base this on job posts from Microsoft. If true than Microsoft is not giving up on the idea of selling own-branded hardware. I get the feeling Microsoft is just going to risk the clash on the market between them and its partners and then sorting things out afterwards.
