Asymmetric iPhone 5 Screw Rumor is a Hoax

A Swedish group fooled parts of Apple News community with a fake rumor about an asymmetrical screw that prevents iPhone 5 owners from opening.

A story about an Apple rumor hoax gets a lot of attention. Attention that I really cannot understand. The Apple rumor mill is full of false rumors and fabricated stories. Swedish Design company Day4 managed to get attention to their fabricated iPhone 5 rumor about an asymmetric screw.

Several blogs covered it (we did not), because anything that has iPhone 5 in it is hot weeks ahead of the iPhone 5 release. To make out of this tiny screw hoax a big ethical story about journalists not checking facts is ridiculous. Go watch Fox News to see some serious hoaxes.
