In what seems to be one of the most absurd ads we've seen in a while, the Nokia Lumia 920 has managed to beat the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S III in term of low-light photography. The ad basically shows a photographer taki ...

Nokia unveiled yesterday the Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8 flagship phone. I definitely liked what Nokia and Microsoft presented. The Lumia 920 has several very attractive features that will get consumers excited. The Nokia Windows Phone 8 devices are very differnt from Android and Apple devices. Nokia focused a lot on the PureView camera and there is where some criticism has to be made. For starters PureView is for many Nokia fans associated with the amazing 41MP camera found in the PureView 808 phone. The Lumia 920 is though just 8MP. On top of that Nokia had to post an apology to fake a TV advertisement demonstrating the image stabilization of the Lumia 920 PureView camera.
Another big differentiator is the wireless charging. Once you have this you never want to go back. Despite the PureView controversy, the Lumia 920 can take on the iPhone 5, but I actually see it competing more with Android phones. Apple buyers are locked into the minimalist thinking that Apple products are based on. Windows Phone 8 and the Nokia phones are more compatible with Android buyers.
The Nokia stock is already rising today in Europe and I think it will continue to rise as the Lumia 920 has a real chance to be a hot selling smartphone.
